In worship, we follow the historic Reformed tradition of simple, biblical worship that focuses on the means of grace: the preaching of God's Word and the singing of Psalms. Our worship is regulated by Scripture alone, a principle established during the Protestant Reformation. We practice exclusive psalmody—singing only inspired songs from the Book of Psalms without instrumental accompaniment, a practice maintained throughout Reformed Presbyterian history. During worship, you'll experience reverent psalm singing, prayer, Scripture reading, and the faithful exposition of God's Word. Children are welcomed as part of our covenant community, participating in the full service as we seek to glorify God together.
Our service is simple and Word centered. We sing the songs of the Bible, the Psalms, translated into English verse. We confess that the Book of Psalms is the hymnbook that God has given to His Church to use to worship Him (Psalm 95:2). We purposely do not employ musical instruments.
We pray according to the Scriptures, adoring God, confessing sins, giving thanks for mercies received, and offering up the petitions of our hearts in accordance with His will (Matt 6:10).
We give heartfelt attention to the reading of Scripture and to faithful preaching of the Word, as a means by which God's grace and Holy Spirit works in our lives. We confess that the preaching of the Word and the administration of the sacraments are the primary means of grace. The preaching is expository and experiential in nature.
We practice both infant and adult baptism - for new converts (Matt 28:19) and the children of believers as holy unto the Lord (Acts 2:39; 1 Cor 7:14). Only communicant members in good standing in Christ's Church are given access to the Lord's Supper.
We practice exclusive psalmody in worship, singing the inspired songs of Scripture without instrumental accompaniment. We use The Book of Psalms for Worship and provide digital resources through Psalter.org.
Join us between services for a fellowship lunch, where we enjoy spiritual fellowship and conversation with each other. This provides an opportunity for encouragement and growth in grace within the body of Christ (Acts 2:42, 46).
We welcome children of all ages in our worship services. Following the biblical pattern and Reformed tradition, we encourage families to worship together as a covenant community. Children learn to worship by participating with the congregation in:
We understand that mothers/parents may need a private space. We provide a comfortable, dedicated room for mothers that includes an audio/video feed of the service.
